Hard Voting Quorum Reduction

25 May 2026

According to the Hard Voting quorum reduction rule, if a request does not reach the required quorum within one month of active Hard Voting, the required quorum is reduced by 10 percentage points.

The request “Allow PayPal for the Fast Pay Button” did not reach the required 50% quorum within one month of active Hard Voting. Therefore, starting from 25 May 2026, the required Hard Voting quorum is reduced from 50% to 40%.

The request “Allow PayPal for the Fast Pay Button” did not reach the required 40% quorum within one month of active Hard Voting. Therefore, starting from 25 June 2026, the required Hard Voting quorum is reduced from 40% to 30%.
